Can dreams, experiences or feelings be trusted when it comes to something as serious as where a person will spend eternity?

📖 WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS:
We don’t have to wonder. God already gave us the truth in His Word. And here’s what He says:

🛑 NOT EVERY SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE COMES FROM GOD:

·       2 Corinthians 11:14 — “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.”

·       John 8:44 — “There is no truth in him [Satan]… he is a liar and the father of lies.”

·       Revelation 12:9 — Satan “leads the whole world astray.”

🧪 WE’RE TOLD TO TEST EVERYTHING:

·       1 John 4:1 — “Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits…”

·       1 Thessalonians 5:21 — “Test everything; hold on to what is good.”

🚫 BEING “A GOOD PERSON” ISN’T ENOUGH:

·       Romans 3:10 — “There is no one righteous, not even one.”

·       Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

·       1 John 1:8 — “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves…”

·       1 John 1:10 — “If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar…”

🎉 THE GOOD NEWS:

·       1 John 1:9 — “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us…”

·       1 John 2:1-2 — “We have an advocate… Jesus Christ… the atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

·       Romans 6:23 — “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.”

·       Romans 5:8 — “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

·       Romans 10:9 — “If you declare, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe… you will be saved.”

·       Romans 10:13 — “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

✝️ WHY JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY:

·       John 14:6 — “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

·       Acts 4:12 — “Salvation is found in no one else… no other name by which we must be saved.”

·       Hebrews 1:1-2 — “In these last days, [God] has spoken to us by His Son.”

·       Colossians 2:9 — “In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.”

·       John 1:14 — “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.”
